•  BASIC INFORMATION 

 

Nick grew up in the UK, playing games and being creative with computers. He attended the London College of Music, managed some independent game stores and then got an industry break working at Jester Interactive. Nick has since contributed to a number of game projects in various ways, to become a well-rounded and well-informed creative designer. He continues to absorb information and stay current with new trends and technologies.

Nick is an ethics advocate and is passionate about ecological and humanitarian causes. He supports free and open source software.

First job at 16 was writing and designing for the official Club Nintendo magazine (UK).

Worked as in-house musician for MTV Music Generator 2
(PlayStation2, published by Codemasters).
 

  • UPLOADED TO THE CROWD

Name appears in the credits of Fable (Xbox, published by Microsoft) as a tester.
 

  • IT'S LIFE JIM -- BUT NOT AS WE KNOW IT

Game designer for Xi (Playstation Home, played live, commissioned by Sony), the world's first "Alternate Reality Game" to appear on a games console or within a virtual world. Apparently.

 

 

As an exercise, Nick wrote a book. A crash-course in video game development.
