Nicholas G. Pendriis

BACKGROUND:

Nick Pendriis (it rhymes with 'peace' and 'fleece') is a designer, with decades of varied experience. He established unFLOCKed in 2016, as a place to gather and share his original independent work.

"The point of unflocked," he explains, "was to build a portfolio gallery, without my name and ego plastered all over everything. It's an anti-brand, with humility and integrity, representing freedom from mainstream dogma but in a fun, approachable way. Ultimately, I wanted to tear up the rulebook and start over fresh. The work should just speak for itself."

Born in the seventies, Nick grew up in rural England, being creative with computers and playing video games. He has worked in various aspects of the games industry, alongside high-profile brands, and is an ethics advocate. Nick loves to travel and supports equality, inclusivity, the natural environment and free, open-source tools and services.
